I can understand your concern for raised spot on top of left foot.
After reading your query with diligence I can make the possibilities of one of the fungal infection and the other of discoloration due to any friction induced trauma.
As top of left foot is one of the common sites for the fungal infection due to heat and humidity by wearing shoes therefore fungus can grow on this site. This can be treated by topical antifungal cream such as clotrimazole for two times a day.
The other possibility can be of discoloration due to any friction induced trauma. This area is prone for the injuries so some times due to trauma there spot over this site leading to discoloration. There is no need of any treatment for the same. It disappears by its own in few weeks of the period.
For the best of possibility you meet a dermatologist who can closely examined guide you accordingly.
All the best.
