What Causes Random Bouts Of Shortness Of Breath And Chest Pain?

The shortness of breath has been off and on for several months while the chest pain and headaches have mainly been throughout the past couple of weeks. Just wondering what the possible causes for this could be?

Hi,

There can be various causes of chest pain. since you have not stated your age. I suggest consult a physician to g et an ECG done to rule out cardiovascular causes. Headaches can occur due to accompanied high blood pressure.

Sometimes chest pain can be seen even in gastric reflux diseases and costochondritis (inflammation of the cartilage of the ribs).

Hence, visit a doctor first to find out the possible cause of chest pain.
Regards,
Dr.Riyanka
