What Causes Random Brown Vaginal Discharge?

hi, my name is bridget, i m 17 years old. i am sexually active but lately i have been having a strange problem. randomly during the day i have brown liquid, once a little bit of blood coming out of my vagina. but i noticed that it wasn t a discharge. i havent been in any pain or had any fevers because of this. and i also dont urine out any blood. it is like a discharge but coming out the other hole. should i see a doctor. im not sure what to do??

1.The symptoms you have mentioned purely suggest some infection - possibility of sexually transmitted disease can not be ruled out.
2.If you are my patient i would have examine you and ask for a vaginal swab - to evaluate the pathogens causing symptoms.
3.And an ultrasound abdomen pelvis - to rule out the kidney any urinary bladder pathology.
4.After that depending on the findings treatment will be given. In your case probable treatment would be a course of antibiotics.
5.Yes you should see your doctor, as infections may cause long term complications and infertility - so get appointment as soon as you can. Good luck.
