What Causes Random Eye Rolling And Nearsightedness In A 7-year-old Child?
My 7 year old daughter has had random eye rolling of both eyes for the last three weeks but the eye rolling is becoming more frequent. Sometimes the left eye does not focus as easily after the eyes have stopped rolling. It also appears that she is having difficulty with reading things unless she moves the object closer. We have an appointment on the 15th with an opthamologist but I don t want things to get worse if it s something she needs to be seen sooner for...what could be the issue?
Hi I have gone through the question and understand your concern. Initially i would like to know that whether your daughter's one eye is moved outward or not. There may be chances of having amblyopia , in which single eye become lazy and does not take fixation. If there is frequent rolling of eyes , she might be having nystamus in which eyes frequently roll horizontally or vertically. You must your ophthalmologist and get full examination done for diagnosis Hope this was of help Let me know if you have any other queries Thank you
