What Causes Rapid Heart Beats After Hiccups?
Hi Doctor, I suddenly got the hiccups then with it, my heart started beating rapidly. It seemed like super fast regular heartbeats. Sometimes when I try and take a deep breath or when I breathe too quickly where the air in my chest feels trapped, my heartbeat will suddenly go from 60 beats to what seems 180 beats per minute. Any suggestions?

There is a reflex between inspiration, hiccups, cough and heart rate. If you have heart beats very frequently I would advise you to see your doctor and undergo holter monitoring.
