hi, i usually sleep on my left side .it seems that i can sleep better and most comfortable but lately whe i fall asleep i get awaken by rapid heart beats and it seems like i can feel blood or something flowing under my left breats and my mouth is very dry

Feeling of one's own heart beat are termed as palpitations which is true in your case.most of them are situational a benign often associated with underlying anxiety or panic attack.Such rapid heart beats need no specific therapy apart from managing the underlying stress with Anxiolytics.But in all such cases 24h Holter EKG with a screening 2 D echo is needed to rule out organic heart lesions and serious arrhythmias.Drugs like propanalol can be occasionally used to abort such attacks.Consult your doctor for further queries.
