i recently found out i was pregnant and i have been having this situation at night and when i lay down. My heart will be faster than normal and it will pound very hard to the point i can see my chest moving and it will most times even rattle my shirt. Is there something wrong with me? Do i need to see my Doctor ASAP about it? I am also on blood Pressure Medication and it seems not to help. and i have been shaking in my hands and knees.

Hello, I understand what you are passing through. No need for worries.
It is normal to have palpitations (racing heart) during pregnancy. It is due to your heart having to pump blood for both you and your baby. If you begin to develop additional symptoms like shortness of breath or dizziness then you can worry. I hope you are not self-administering the blood pressure medication. Don't use any medication except when told to do so by your physician. If your palpitations increase over time and cause you to worry, you can go for an EKG exam. Warm regards
