What Causes Rapid Heart Rate And Tingling Sensation In Arm?
yes thank you. I have woke up a couple times with a tingly sensation anxiety rapid heart rate and my heart feels funny almost like it is going to sieze. it went away the first night 2 weeks later it happened again which was last night. my heart felt like a a bit of squeezing nothing intense and a bit tingly in my left arm towards the muscle any ideas?
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to nightmares (which is a sleep disorder) or anxiety.
If your symptoms persist, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
-a resting ECG
- a chest X-ray study
- complete blood count for anaemia
- blood electrolytes for imbalances.
An ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring would help investigate for possible cardiac arrhythmia.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
