Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Rapid Heartbeat And Difficulty In Breathing?
I am a 45 year old female, non-smoker. I used to work out a lot but do so with less frequency now. Sometimes after bending over to pick something up or going up the stairs I find that I have a rapid heartbeat and breathing a little harder. Breathing and heartbeat seem to normalize pretty quickly. I don t know if it is connected to asthma/allergies or if it is an indication of something else.
