What Causes Rapid Weight Loss, Swelling In The Lymph Nodes And Hair Loss?
For the past year I have been going to doctors with no relief. I have had rapid weight loss, swelling in the lymph nodes, and hair loss. I had to go to the ER tonight due to green urine and abnormal swelling. They did some blood work and my results are as followed; SGOT (AST) 53, and SGPT (ALT) was 152. Red blood count is low. Hematocrit is low. MCV high, MCH high, Lymph% is low as normal, Mono% is still high, MO# is high, Neut % high, glucose is high, carbon dioxide is high...

Here you might have chronic infection , chronic inflammation or malignancy...
Your work up needed with....
-physical examination
-CRP estimation
-USG
-Chest x ray
-auscultation etc...
If needed than higher investigation like MRI scan or biopsy from lymph node might needed. .
According to cause determination from above investigation specific treatment can be guided....
If history suggestive than HIV should be ruled out by ELISA.
