I have a boyfriend who states that he has a rash on his penis every time we are done having sex. He states that it normally goes away after 24 hours. He states that it is dry and flaky. In the past I have had a yeast infection due to using lube that was not water base. Could it be that the symptoms that he is receiving is because of possible friction or is could it be from a yeast infection.
If you were to visit my clinic with the following problem, I would: 1) Examine the lesion 2) As it goes away after 24 hours most probably it is due to friction 3) Treat your yeast infection 4) Advise the male to wear a condom during your next intercourse and then see if the lesion recurs 5) If it does, order a STD panel for you both & treat accordingly
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
