My husband (age 75) woke this morning with a rash all over his body; it was not terribly itchy. Our regular Dr. did not know what it could be and is trying to get an appt. with a dermatologist for us. We had leftover green beans tonight at dinner.

It was after we went to bed that the possibility of a reaction to the shiitake mushrooms occurred to me. I have never used them before. Could this be the cause of the rash? How can it be treated?
