What Causes Rashes In The Mouth While On Latuda?

I am currently taking Latina for BiPolar depression, highs and lows, have developed a terrible rash in my mouth. Since I have denture problems, am planning on seeing dentist tomorrow. However, could this be a side effect of taking Latuda, as I have tries Lamictal in the past, helped me out big time but I developed rash on arms and almost same rash in mouth as I am suffering with now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction from Latuda. I suggest you to use antihistamines daily. I also suggest you to rinse with cool water for local relief. If the symptoms continue you should consult a dentist for a physical examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
