I finished chemo 6 weeks ago for stage 2 Hodgkin s Lymphoma and am supposedly OK now, but I have red and swollen hands (I have had that for a few months now and had it before chemo started) LOTS of skin-colored rash on my back and stomach (not itchy at all) that started up about 3 weeks ago and slightly swollen knees and ankles (just started a week ago). My ANA is also 1:320 2 weeks after chemo complete. Two oncologists have no answer to all of this. These rashes are similar to what I experienced before being diagnosed with Hodgkin s. I am confused about this - because otherwise I feel very healthy.
Hi. As per your case history you may be having hogdkin lymphoma induced cutaneous reaction. As the rashes appeared before chemotherapy they are less likely to be due to it. My treatment advice is - 1. Such lymphoma induced rashes will fade away gradually as your hogdkin lymphoma is cured. 2. Just apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion twice daily on it. 3. Antihistamines like levocetrizine can be taken for itching.
