What Causes Rashes On Body After Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy on Thursday of last week. I woke up yesterday morning with what appears as a rope rash, burning and very sore to the touch that I did not have immediately after the procedure and I do not understand why. Can you tell me why this would have happened? I am using Neosporin to heal it.

Hi.
Thanks for your query/
Noted the history of colonoscopy on Thursday last and got up today with a rope-rash that is very sore to touch, burning that you did not get immediately after the procedure.
You are using Neosporin to heal it.
As per the history of the rope rash that is burning and very sore to touch, this looks o be either Herpes Zoster or may be due to insect getting rubbed over.
I would advise you the following in such a situation.
Consult your Doctor to get a confirmed diagnosis so that proper anti-viral treatment can be started if there is Herpes and antihistamines and steroid if it is allergic.
Do not apply anything at the moment till your Doctor looks at it.
This has nothing to do with colonoscopy so do not worry about it. Continue your previous treatment for which colonoscopy was done,
