Hello, I am fourteen years old, and whenever I was the dishes, or wash my hands late at night, my legs get blotchy, red, hot patches, and I m not sure why. Is there a name for this type of reaction? My Grandmother (who was a nurse) says there is a name for it—it s a type of disease supposedly. Thank you for your time.
The symptoms seem to be related to contact dermatitis. I suggest to change the dishwasher which can cause the symptoms. I suggest using antihistamines such as Cetirizine to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using hydrocortisone cream for local application.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
