Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I started Cartia with an immediate reduction of my heart rate.... a few days later my pulse rose rapidly to 145 bum. I stopped and started metropolol and pulse dropped to 60-70 bpm I also developed a rash on my hands and arms becoming large itchy blotches. This then spread to my neck and legs
As we have many allergic issues reported on cartia its better you can stop the drug and take tablet Cetirizine BD (twice daily after food) for 3 days. I suggest you to consult your physician and change your drug from Cartia (Aspirin) from Clopidogrel and adjust your dose accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
