Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I finished my period at the beginning of last week. I am on microgynon 30 pill and have been taking this for 3 months. Since yesterday when I went to the toilet, there was blood on the tissue when I wiped. This was of a bright red colour. There s no pain when I pass urine or at any time, just the blood. What does this mean? What shall I do?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of finishing the period at the beginning of the last week, are on microgynon pill for the last 3 months. There is blood on tissue paper and there is no pain on passing urine at any time, just blood. Wants to know the reasons and what to do. Since there is blood on tissue paper on wiping it means there may be inter-menstrual bleeding. It may resolve on its own within a few days, If it does not, consult your Gynecologist and get started on the treatment only if suggested by your Gynecologist.
