What Causes Rectal Soreness Post Anal Sex?
Hi, I am a 26 year old gay man. I regularly have anal sex and play the role of the recipient. However, in the last few months I have been really sore, probably for a week, after I had anal sex. What is the cause of it? There is nothing different I am doing from what I used to. I also use prilox gel in and around by anus to numb the pain.

There are many causes which can lead to soreness.
Friction cause dammage to rectal tissues.
STD llike herpese simplex- May developed some blisters around anus.
Haemorrhoids /Piles can cause soreness but there may be some bleeding from the rectum.
Worm infection.
So better to check with your doctor as soon as possible.
