I got a test done and this was the report -Colour-Pale yellow , Appearance-Hazy , Deposit-Present , Reaction- Acidic , Sugar -Nil , Albumin- Trace , Phosphate-Nil , Pus cells-4-5 HPF , RBCs- Nil , E.P Cells -5/6 HPF , Casts- Nil , Crystals -Nil Could you tell me what it means? What should I be doing next?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your mentioned urine report doesn't show any red blood cells in urine means blood is not present.

The pus cells also within the limit.

So it is not suggestive of urinary tract infection.

However, if you are suffering from repeated UTI than you should rule out diabetes by random blood sugar estimation.

If you are sexually active than it's advisable to wash genitals after sex and urination after sex to prevent UTI.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
