What Causes Recurrent Abdominal Pain And Bloating?
Hi Doctor! Monday morning I woke up with bloating and stomach cramps that worsened through the day. By Afternoon, I had nausea and a fever of 100.7 with no worsening pain. Tuesday fever and nausea were gone, stomach pain reduced but still there. Went to urgent care thinking maybe appendicitis. PA found some rebound pain, but thought with no fever and lessening pain to take wait and see approach. Today pain is completely gone. At this point, am I safe to assume not appendicitis? Thanks!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if the appendix was suspected then it is very easy to diagnosed clinically, if it is not being cleared then it may not be appendicitis, but to rule out the possibilities of it then imaging study is must, the most confirmative clue is the increased total count (WBC) hope this information helps.
