What Causes Recurrent Open Wounds On Shins

I have had open wounds on my shins that come and go unexplainably. This has been recurring over the past ten years. Diabetes is, to my knowledge, not an issue, nor is this a case for a dermatologist. I believe it somehow comes from inside, possibly a circulation problem or as a result of smoking.

Hello

I have studied your case

All your symptoms suggest systemic infection leading to recurrent wound.
Colour doppler of leg will help to diagnose ischemic peripheral limb leading to recurrent ulcer.

You may need to investigate in form of complete blood count, ESR, CRP, tuberculin test, and Fine needle aspiration cytology or open biopsy.
There could be possibility of infection like Tuberculosis or sarcoidosis.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
