2 weeks ago My 23month old son was given celestamine by GP, advised to administer for 5-10 days and then stop using it and switch to deselex since celestamine contains cortisone.he got much better while using it. A week later after I stopped administering it, he s stuffed nose is back and it looks like he also has pain in his ears. Can I give him the remaining celestamine, I haven t given it to him for a week.
HELLO, the cause for recurrent rhinitis with ear pain in this case could be Allergic rhinitis, its usually also associated with sneezing, nasal block...in such cases he can started on nasal steroid spray and oral anti histaminics... and oral steroids adviced only in moderate to severe conditions...and one more important thing is steroids should not be stopped abruptly...
