I am an 18 year old girl and I have had a recurrent skin rash on my chest that doesn t itch. I am otherwise healthy. It happened in October, January and today. I didn t even notice it was on my chest until I went to change my shirt. The skin appears red and a bit blotchy. Should I be worried? I took reactine the last 2 times and it was gone the next day.
Recurrent rash responding to antihistamines point towards urticaria...it is characterized by recurrent transient rash...Sometimes they dont itch..Urticaria needs a long treatment. You should take antihistamines like levocetirizine till remission under a dermatologist supervision...also avoid if there is any trigger factor that you have noted is associated with your condition.
