What Causes Recurrent Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Contraceptive Pill?

Hello, I took a morning after pill about a month ago and since then I had two periods (that came just a few days after my regular One too). Now I keep bleeding now and again, just a few drops, but I also tend to bleed when I have sex (my boyfriend also says he notices the smell and taste of blood, and not in a good way, even though it seemed normal and wouldn t bleed until I became aroused for some reason). I wanna ask if this is normal... Should I do something? Will it stop bleeding randomly like this

Hi,

Slight menstrual irregularities including bleeding can happen with any contraceptive pills. Generally, it will settle by itself without treatment.

If bleeding is severe you can take Tranexamic Acid tablet for controlling the bleed and consult a gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
