What Causes Recurring UTI?

I'm 76 years old. I have frequent uniary tract infections. Take antiobotic when I do. I have no fever, but feel like my blood is boiling. It comes and goes. I had polio when I was young and now have post polio symdrome. I get real anxious when this hot feeling occurs -all over my body. I have mentioned this to several doctors, but got no reason for it. Don't know if its any medicine I take or what causes this
