my 22 year old daughter had a bald spot on her head about 3 years ago. the hair grew back, but it took almost 3 years for hair to grow back. now, she has another bald spot developing. she is healthy, eats balanced meals and exercises, no stressful events occurred recently. what can we do to prevent further hair loss?
Your daughter seems to have developed Alopecia areata . This is basically an autoimmune condition in which there can be development of patches of hair loss.
