What Causes Recurring Cough And Spot In Eyes?

I ve had a persistent cough for a few weeks. Today I had a coughing fit that created a spot in both eyes that is just below and to the right of the center of my vision. This is making it incredibly difficult to read or pretty much look at anything and see it clearly. Is this something I should be concerned about or will it go away on its own eventually?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
