What Causes Recurring Fungal Skin Infections?

Most current problem: I m a 67 yr old female. I am overweight with large breasts. In the last week I have treated skin fungal areas with miconazole successfully. I ve been itchy at times under my left breast. I noticed today that I have a purple rash with small pimples there now. My fungal episodes seem to occur at times of increased stress. I am being monitored for diabetes with A1C, and I have been a steady 6. I have had lots of fungal over the years, they always cleared with miconazole or the lik, but I never have had this type of purple rash with small pimples. Can you please tell me what this may be?

I have gone through your query.Recurrent fungal infections can occur in case of decreased immunity.Increased stress also can cause decreased immunity.For such fungal infections i advise ketoconazole lotion or soap or powder for local application.I also advise fluconazole tab weekly once for 1 month to stop recurrence.Taking vitamin C also will be helpful in maintaining immunity.Hope this may help you.
