What Causes Recurring Localized Sharp Pains In The Heart?
Funny pins and needles in the heart I have been have twinges in my heart that I can only describe as sore sharp pins and needles. It s not indigestion and the pain stays localised. It comes and goes throughout the day and sometimes when I am just satay relaxed. I m 72 year old men. I should add that I have bursitis on the right shoulder with pains

Sensation of pins and needles in your heart can be a form of atypical presentation of cardiac related chest pain .To evaluate this I advice you a have a baseline EKG and a 2 dimensional screening echo to evaluate the degree of cardiac reserve.Shoulder bursitis has no correlation with chest pain.Consult your doctor for further care.
