What Causes Recurring Scab Surrounded By Red And Swollen Area?
I had a scab that I repeatedly picked at. Now surrounding area red and swollen with a little pain. Noticed it yesterday have been cleaning wound with peroxide and applying bacitracin. Area hasn t gotten bigger overnight. Still red and a little swollen and warm to touch

Hello, scabbing is a process in wound healing and by picking it off, you are disrupting the same , the redness and swelling is tissue response to heal the wound.
I would adv you to clean with plain water, mop it dry with a cotton cloth, apply mupirocin cream and bandage the wound ..Dress it daily like this.
Take tab zinase-D 1 tab bd for 3 days after meals.
This will help in complete healing.
