Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a recurring sore on my toe with clear sticky inside and sometimes blood. What could this be. I ve had it for about 4 months. It has never clearly went away. Once I get the clear liquid out it looks like it may go away and will fill back up at get big until I drain it.
It seems to be an infective process, may be fungal or pyogenic. Kindly send the fluid for microscopic examination & culture & sensitivity. Sterile dressing with antiseptic ointment should be done until the wound heals.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nirmal Chander Gupta, Orthopaedic Surgeon
