What Causes Recurring Vertigo?

hi doctor... my husband is mansoor...he s suffering from vertigo from the past 1year.. it is coming every 2months.. I try to find its reason.. finally one of the reasons is sexual relationship.. A day after the relationship he is suffering from nausea and vomiting... please clear my confusions doctor...

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of your husband having recurrent vertigo for the past one year and you have now noticed that there is vomiting and nausea a day after sexual relationship. You have not mentioned about vertigo a day after sexual relationship.

Well, the most probable reasons for recurrent nausea, vomiting and vertigo particularly a day after sex can be as follows:
- There can be a strain on the cervical spine thereby causing reduced blood supply to the brain and causing vertigo.
Another reason can be related to the use of some medicines like Viagra or so. This too can cause such problems.

I would advise you the following:
Regular Blood pressure monitoring at home and note down the readings.
Investigations:
MRI of the brain, mastoids and the cervical spine along with angiography- the vertigo protocol.
Medical examination to find out if he has any other problems.

To note the changes he gets during and after sexual relationship and discuss with your Doctor to help to find out the diagnosis and get the appropriate treatment.
