What Causes Recurring Vomiting In Adolescents?

My 14 year old daughter has been vomiting in the evenings about three times a week for the last three weeks. She is very active and healthy, she is not pregnant, and she does not appear to have any other symptoms thank the nausea and vomiting. Usually feels much better after. Any idea what could be the problem?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history about your 13 years old daughter having only nausea and vomiting, that she is not pregnant or have any other symptoms, happens in the in the evening and thrice in a week and feels better after this.
Does not look any serious problem, this may be due to some problems which she feels not connected to the nausea and vomiting like gastritis, anxiety, stress and all those adolescent related things.
Have a detailed history.
Give PPI like Omeprazole and antacid.
Change of diet
Stop junk foods.
If required have a clinical evaluation and investigations under the guidance of your Family Doctor.
She would be fine.
