What Causes Red And Inflamed Gums In A Child?
Hi My son is almost 5 and brushes his teeth regurlarly. The last couple of days he has complained of tingling in his gums and they look inflamed and red. When he brushed this morning there was blood. I am making him an appointment today at the dentist but just wondered if i should be worried, is this comman?

Hi thank you for choosing healthcare magic. It is not that common to have inflamed gums in kids. Is his tongue and lips are also like that, if so give him multivitamin syrup for few days. It's better you show him to a dentist also as they might have mild infection.
