Hello
It's a common condition in female children.
You should get her urine tested as Urinary infection is common in young girls. Another cause is pin worms for which you may give her syrup Albendazole 10 ml and repeat after about two weeks. Redness and pain in the external genital passage could also be due to bacterial or fungal vulvo-vaginitis for which you need to consult a Pediatrician. Local hygiene by daily washing with a mild soap and water twice a day will help prevent recurrence of this condition after being properly treated with appropriate medication as prescribed by your child's Pediatrician.
Best wishes for your child's quick recovery.
