What Causes Red Blisters On Lips?

I woke up with 3 really really small bumps on my top lip but it looks like just one big bump when your just looking at it.. I didnt have them the day before. when i touch it hurts a bit. it feels like any new pimple would . what do you think this would be?

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain small bumps over the upper lip that looks like one single bump can be due to any insect bite over the lip or bacterial infection while in case if it is in the form of small fluid filled blisters it can be cold sores caused by herpes simplex virus..
It might also be due to allergic reaction to any lip cosmetic or food..
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and in case if it is bacterial infection antibacterial or antibiotic ointment can be applied over it to heal..
In case of cold sores oral and topical antiviral medications like Acyclovir or Valacyclovir can help..
In case of allergic reaction anti-allergics like Benadryl and topical application of steroid ointment like Cortisone will help..
