What Causes Red Blotches Above Vagina After Intercourse?

After having intercourse with a new partner the next day I noticed red blotches above my vaginal area. The next day the blotchy areas became more of a discolored skin color. No itching or burning. What might this be? Should I be worried?? Im 24. 5'4" and about 118 lbs. I have two children and both delivered C-section.

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to micro-trauma due to the intercourse. In my opinion, there is nothing to be worried. You can use vaginal suppositories with hyaluronic which can help in faster recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
