What Causes Red Bumps On The Vagina After Intercourse?
Hi, last Monday I had really rough sex with my boyfriend and I thought he tore me but yesterday I took a look and notice some spots down there , they look white in the middle and its kinda red around the edges. It hurts to walk, urinate. And I have more discharge down there that kinda those cloudy or whitish.. And I ve had chills too, what could this be? I m hoping to get an appointment this week since I m freaked out.
General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, I understand your concern. - The skin symptoms you have after a rough sex are normal bodily reaction to excessive physical stress you had to your genitals.Mild chills/fever can also be due to physical stress - maintenance of good genital hygiene with washes with warm water & application of antibiotic/ betamethasone cream/ taking pain killer & anti inflammatory pills ( Combiflam ) orally twice a day- should resolve the problem. - Still if you have fever with burning in urine /itching You should consult a gynecologist for further tests & exclusion/ treatment of STDs. Treatment should be taken by both sex partners. Thanks.
