What Causes Red Bumps Which Turns Brown Under The Skin Of Legs?

I have these small red bumps, which appear under the skin, and then fade into brown spots. They are barely noticeable until I feel them while showering and they don t itch. They are on both legs, but predominantly on my right leg. I am 49, 5 3, about 140-150 lbs., and have high blood pressure (not on any medication though) and other than some aches and pains, am pretty much healthy.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having vasculitis rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
