What Causes Red Colored Ejaculation?

hi i am a 34 year old male. i am 5 11 310 lbs. i just had an ejaculation that came out very vibrant red. i have read some on this and want to know if this is serious or will pass. it happen one time before around December of this last year. the seman was not as red as this time..

Hello,

The red colour semen is called hematospermia.

You need to evaluate further with the following investigation to find out the underlying cause.
_ultrasound trans rectal
_semen culture
_per rectal examination

The seminal vesicle inflammation is the most common cause of hematospermia.
Meanwhile you can be prescribed Levofloxacin for 6 week and anti-inflammatory drug like serratiopeptidase plus chymotrypsin containing for few days.

You can revert back with reports once done for further discussion.
