What Causes Red Dots On Torso And Redness Around Navel?
I have red pin prick dots on my torso and at times, redness around my navel; always have crawling sensations and some itching on skin and body in bed and everywhere else. My apt was treaetd for bed bugs last summer and a year and a half before; they are no longer seen. A cat that kept sneaking in the complex supposedly had fleas.
Hi. As per your case history you are having either miliria or allergic dermatitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are topical steroid, oral antibiotic, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
