Hello. Some weeks ago some of my friends start mocking me because my beard was starting to get red hairs on both sides, next to the mouth. Now, I can see thatt it is spreading around my beard and its getting to the moustache as well. I really have no idea why this is happening since my family has no red headed persons what so ever. I read in the web that this could be a result of a diet pretty rich in sugars and such. Is this plausible or its just something else ? Thank you very much.
No, food has nothing to do with this condition, but he should see a dermatologist to do some lab tests especially hormonal and melatonin levels.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
