What Causes Red Itchy Caruncle In Eye Along With Green Discharge From Eyes?
I ve had a red and very itchy caruncle in my right eye for almost a year. I get a lot of green discharge forming in the corner of my eye also, especially in the morning. Dust and cold weather also seem to cause my to water almost constantly as if I was crying. My other eye is completely fine. Eye drops no matter what the strength simply don t work! Please help!
It seems from the history that you are having watering, discharge from the eye of long standing duration. This can be because of inflammatiory conditions like chronic dacryocystitis. This requires treatment antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Long standing cases may require treatment by surgery in the form of dacryocystectomy or dacryocystorhinostomy.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
