What Causes Red Lines On Face If Woke With Migraine Pain ?

Wed I awoke with a migrane and 2 red vertical lines on my face - one down each cheek. They went away about 30 minutes later. Today (Sunday ) when I woke up, the lines were there again, in a slightly different place. They look like scratches but fade in about 30 minutes. Any thoughts of what they may be?
