What Causes Red Mucous Discharge With Semi-liquid Stool In Baby?

my 7 month baby is passing semi -liquid stools since 3 days and today i noticed fresh bloody red streaks with mucous , normally his stools are solid and greenish in color . i was giving him rice ,milk , fruits since 3 months. he doesnt seem to have any fever . what could be the cause ?

Loose motions with blood and mucus indicate bacterial infection, fever is not essential for it. may need stool exam and antibiotics ,so visit your child specialist.
