What Causes Red Patches On The Leg After Surgery For Broken Ankle?
Hello. My daughter had surgery on april 22 and had 4 screws put in her broken ankle. She healed well and is walking and in no pain but she has been getting red patches on her leg. Last night she said it was all the way up her leg past her knee. Could this be a reaction from the screws?

It may be ecchymoses... also called purpura...may be post operative complication. You kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis.
