What Causes Red Pimples On Legs Which Are Itchy & Painful?

my boy is 11 years old he had red pimples on his legs a weak ago then its gone but left a mrck ,one or two were big the others small ,not itchy but huurt when u touch them,now he had many small ones on his arm and two big ones the same ,it looks like mosquito bites .can u tell me what it might be ?/

Hi,

Red pimple like lesions on the legs and spreading to other parts probably may be lichen urticaria. It is also called papular urticaria. It is a hypersensitive reaction to insects bite. Insects may be mosquito or other. He does not complain of itching, compains of pain while touching. Give him a short course of antibiotic like azithromycine with steroid in tappering dose. Apply mild steroid cream on the lesions. And take precautions to protect from mosquito bite. I hope you got my answer.
