What Causes Red Splotches Around Thighs Of A 25 Month Baby?

Last night when I was changing my son's diaper (he is 25mths) I saw what I thought was a bruise on his right thigh, then I looked on the left thigh and it had the same only had red splotches around it. It doesn't seem be painful to put presure on them or bother him in any other way. Any ideas?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

It might be a diaper rash or could be redness due to pressure of the diaper elastic. If it is not bothering him, do not worry. But if it is not going away soon of if the color is changing to black, I suggest you see your pediatrician and rule out bleeding disorder and you say it looks like a bruise.
