What Causes Red Spots On The Body?
I am PLHIV I tested last January 2, 2014 positive, 1st cd4 count 450 and then after 3 months cd4 count was 676. No oppurtonistic disease, but since I started the symptoms I tested. But before I tested last December 2013 of last week I have a flue with small red spots on my skin which is not to much like 8 red spots which is not itchy but when I apply pressure it will fade. This red spots disappear after 3 to 4 days. Since then it was appeared not every month but every other month. What cause of this red spots.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on body which seems to be due to allergic reaction, sudden reaction from allergens, due to poor immunity of body and instant response of body to certain stimulus. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with intake of antihistamine medication such as benadryl. Apply vitamin E oil at night. Avoid touching or pricking skin with any sharp object. Drink plenty of water. You can take Allegra as well and start application of clindamycin gel on these areas. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after complete examination. You can apply aloe vera gel on them as well. You should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight.
